About The Koinonia Foundation

The Koinonia Foundation is a nondenominational Christian organization dedicated to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ by serving those in need.

The Foundation endeavors to provide financial support for other organizations that address human needs that are not otherwise adequately funded. The Foundation also provides support to individuals whose needs are not fully met by other funding organizations.

The Koinonia Foundation is legally registered with the state of North Carolina and federally registered as a charitable organization. The Koinonia Foundation was founded in 1990 by a caring and concerned group of Christians known as the Koinonia Sunday School Class of Wake Forest Baptist Church. The Foundation quickly expanded with its charter to include all caring and concerned people regardless of denomination. The Foundation is now actively involved in building its endowment in order to assist as many people as possible.

The volunteer board of The Koinonia Foundation works to raise community awareness of the purpose and function of The Koinonia Foundation. The board also functions to expand the endowment of the foundation so that the foundation may continue to support others in need.
